The Mobile Units are assembled in factory-controlled conditions, under expert supervision. The use of first class materials together with a robust design ensures the quality for which FSM Products have become known.

The FSM Building System is based on a module of 915mm. The skeleton of a building consists of a precision made, bolted, pressed steel framework which does not rely on the wall cladding for any support whatsoever, and is in itself a rigid structure.

The system makes use of a vacuum bonded chromadek sandwich panel with a 30 minute fire rating and is certified by the Agrément Board of South Africa.

The system makes use of a vacuum bonded sandwich panel with a fire retardent quality 60mm polystyrene core. Various surface materials can be supplied to give the required wall finish.

These buildings have been designed to provide low cost basic accommodation, without compromising on quality. The construction is suitable for both temporary and permanent situations. Only approved materials are used which give the buildings a life span in excess of 20 years.

FSM has increased its prefabricated building options to include converted containers.

The container can either be converted by FSM at our factory to the client specifications or supplied in a kit form for conversion by the client on site.

Our Folding Mobile Unit has a floor area of 14.4m² and consists of a base with exactly the same dimensions as a 20 ft container. It weighs approximately 1700 kg.

FSM has over the years designed specialised units and buildings to suit our customers needs. These range from E-Houses to custom finished buildings for uses ranging from Hotels to Banks.
